Isfahan Shopping Mall
Isfahan is a respected historical and artistic city where Islam and traditions have strong influences on architectural styles and urban planning. The proposal was developed in line with the city's municipality calling for a central shopping complex that replaces the existing traditional bazaar. The design explores and addresses the challenges facing modern Islamic architecture today by seeking to strike a balance as a state-of-the-art vision rooted in local heritage. The main characteristic of the proposal is the vertical arch that translated into the overall form and decorated by the marvels of Islamic geometric patterns - the most recognizable expressions of Islamic art and architecture. The result is an architecture that respects Islamic philosophy, motifs, and artistic traditions while pushing the boundaries of design.
The overall design, 3D modeling, rendering, and post-production for this proposal have been done individually.
